Welcome to Interview the Boss 2B – We are so pleased to introduce you to Jess Cliffe, a 4th year undergraduate student at Massey University, New Zealand. Jess has turned the covid experience into an exciting opportunity – and taken being stuck at home during lockdown into creative content space in her ‘Vet Student Vlogs’ (Video Blog). Jess now has over 6,500 YouTube subscribers for her YouTube channel and while she has turned her lockdown boredom into a creative outlet – she is actively reaching a huge audience and educating prospective and current vet students and society about the journey of becoming a veterinarian.

Jess has a passion for improving mental health in vet med – and has leaned into opportunities such as being interviewed by VetX and actively supporting Not One More Vet (NOMV) which raises funds and awareness for suicide prevention in the veterinary profession.
