Veterinary Business Thought Leader Award is also eligible for student members of the Veterinary Business Group.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<h4>Veterinary Business of the Year<br>(formerly Practice of Excellence Award)<\/h4>\n<p>An organisation that demonstrates outstanding performance across the 10 core competencies of veterinary business.<\/p>\n<p>Competencies include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Change Management<\/li>\n<li>Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Standards and Protocols<\/li>\n<li>Human Resources &amp; Industrial Relations<\/li>\n<li>Strategic Planning<\/li>\n<li>Ethics<\/li>\n<li>Risk Management<\/li>\n<li>Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Requirements<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>An essay outlining how the veterinary business is outstanding in each of the core competencies (up to 300 words for each competency)<\/li>\n<li>Two written references that speak to the outstanding nature of the veterinary business.
