These include issues such as climate change, drought and water supply, animal hoarding, food security and nutrition, conservation and the changing human-animal interface.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conference objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This event is designed to gather national and international experts across animal welfare, human healthcare, conservationists and environmental scientists to learn from one another. By bringing together public and private stakeholders, including those from government, academic, non-profit organisations and industry, we can discuss research, best practices, models and policies that have succeeded \u2013 or not \u2013 in managing these complex problems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is an opportunity to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a unique, positive environmental for sharing of expert knowledge and establish networks<\/li>\n<li>Share and troubleshoot solutions from across regions, states, and countries, in both private and public sectors<\/li>\n<li>Identify and analyse legislative barriers and brainstorm solutions<\/li>\n<li>To strengthen the international One Welfare network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>DEVOTE 3 DAYS TO WELFARE<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Mental Wellbeing for Veterinary Teams\u00a0Symposium\u00a0|\u00a0<\/strong>16 October 2019<\/p>\n<p>This exciting 1-day symposium is aimed at\u00a0promoting wellbeing and tapping into resources we may not know we have. Our speakers will provide bite-sized insights, with a focus on positive action you can take to build resilience and support colleagues.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 385px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cve.edu.au\/sites\/default\/files\/pictures\/Four-Words%20Forwards-small.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"340\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo source CVE<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>&#8216;Four-Words, Forwards!&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to their talks, each speaker will give FOUR WORDS of advice to help us move forwards with our lives and careers.
