Gungahlin Veterinary Services, comprising of Gungahlin Veterinary Hospital (mainly dogs) and the co-located Gungahlin Cat Hospital, is one of the premier veterinary practices in the ACT.  Our hospital is modern and purpose-built and equipped with a full complement of equipment for diagnosis and surgery of most small animal problems, and we are an ASAVA Accredited Hospital of Excellence.  We work in a stimulating environment with a team of experienced and highly trained veterinarians, caring veterinary nurses and dedicated receptionists and support staff.  We are not a corporate, with our two Practice Directors being two of our amazing veterinarians.

We have two excellent ultrasonographers who receive referrals from other practices, a busy in-house laboratory, and do many interesting procedures and surgeries every day.  We refer to an excellent team of specialists within Canberra and have both eye and dermatology specialists visiting on a regular basis.  There is also an independent, on-site emergency service with whom we work very closely – meaning the hospital itself is open 24/7, 365 days a year but our staff do not have to work after hours or Sundays.

Training, experience and equipment are nothing without care.  Our staff are animal lovers and owners who understand the joys of pet ownership, the worry when they are unwell, and the grief when they are lost.  We care for our client’s pets with compassion as well as professionalism, and for our clients with empathy and respect.
