Key Responsibilities : 

• supporting the team in executing the day-to-day operations of our veterinary hospital to maximise efficiency and smooth workflow;
• liaising with the principal veterinary regarding strategy and planning;
• organise and encourage training and support for employees as required;
• ensuring the team is delivering the highest quality care to our patients and their owners;
• involvement in recruitment, training and induction of new employees;
• provide support to the team and play an active role in their development plans;
• commitment to ensuring a positive workplace culture;
• liaise with wholesale representatives;
• co-ordinate and implement any in hospital events, training, and system integration;
• hospital equipment care and maintenance;
•  OH&S;
• management of payroll, clinic rosters, protocol and policies as well as other administrative duties;
• stock management;
• challenge us to build upon our high standards of patient care and customer service;
• move our practice to paperless and reduce our environmental impact;
• performance management.
