What you’ll do

As our Veterinary Claims Officer team member you will:

• Use your veterinary skills and knowledge to make informed claims decisions
• Utilise your passion for animals to ensure a smooth process and positive claims experience for our customers, their pets and vets
• Manage complex claims through to completion
• Support the continuous improvement of Customer Experience by understanding and ensuring our existing and new customers’ expectations are met or exceeded
• Ability to interpret medical records and apply clinical knowledge to scenarios in a commercial setting
• Ability to explain medical concepts in layman terms to internal and external stakeholders verbally and in writing
• Assess and manage GapOnly claims untill completion
• Assist with claims assessing and auditing of high value claims when required
• Utilise your technical knowledge to provide advice to other areas of the business

 

What you’ll bring

• Qualifications in Veterinary Science
• Pet parent or pet advocate
• Passionate about PetSure’s mission to remove the worries that come with being a pet owner
• Clinical experience in veterinary field or other relevant industry experience
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding performance expectations
• Proven experience at developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues and customers
• Intermediate Microsoft office skills
