Virbac has two exciting opportunities for experienced and commercially astute Senior Product Managers, with demonstrated marketing, technical and leadership skills to join the Livestock Marketing team. The successful candidates will have a strong record of developing marketing strategy, Marketing tactical and  execution plans, strong interpersonal skills ,a positive, energetic, creative and proactive approach.

 

Your primary responsibilities are:

Drive the growth of ruminant Virbac products throughout Australia through the Development and Execution of short, medium and long term marketing and technical plans and activities

Develop and Execute marketing objectives, strategies, product messaging, post registration trials and promotional campaigns in a timely and accurate manner within the allocated budget.

Work closely with the commercial field team to identify and support new opportunities and segments to expand the use of Virbac products in ruminants.Identify, prioritise and close the gaps in the current marketing and technical resources for the brand, necessary to attract and convert new users.

Identify, educate, influence and manage key stakeholders (farmers, KOLs, Advisors, Vets) on the critical role of injectable trace minerals in ruminants.

Lead the strategic long-term plans for the nutrition segment including contribution to internal R&D projects, product improvement and lifecycle management projects and identifying new BD opportunities.

Contribute to Virbac’s international Injectable Trace Mineral Marketing, Technical & NPD working group .

 

To be successful in this role:

At least 5+ years previous Marketing &/or Technical experience (production animals) within Animal Health Pharmaceuticals is essential.

Understanding or experience in the livestock market. Practical farm &/or animal husbandry &/or clinical veterinary experience will be highly regarded.

Qualifications in either Animal/Veterinary/Agricultural Science, or Marketing. Combinations of two or more are highly advantageous;

Enthusiastic team player, with demonstrated personal drive and motivation, to hit the ground running. Highly organised.

Proven experience delivering against objectives/projects.

Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation and the AH industry.

Willingness to travel to support implementation of in-field activities.
