A Lead Veterinarian is required at our soon to open, Feline Only Private Clinic, in Melbourne's north. The Clinic is currently under construction and purpose-built. It will have all the equipment to practice at the highest level.

We are looking for an experienced Veterinarian, with a passion for feline work and previous experience in a leadership position. You will be responsible for driving the growth of the Clinic, overseeing and managing the Clinic team and the day-to-day operations.

You will have a real say in the hiring of the core team at the practice. This will include Vet Nurses, a Practice Manager and, as the business grows, an additional Veterinarian.

The Clinic has an existing client base. Clinic hours will be Monday to Friday with future plans to open Saturdays.

A passion for high quality veterinary work, excellent communication skills and the desire to work as part of a cohesive team are essential. Previous experience managing and leading staff is also required.

We are located a 40 minute drive from Melbourne's CBD and is within walking distance to a train station. This is a quiet, leafy residential area with a major shopping centre close by. On-site parking is available at the practice.
