Vetlife is a large veterinary practice with 24 clinics throughout the South Island.  Vetlife Rangiora  offers a full range of veterinary services to the surrounding community for companion animals. We currently have an opportunity for a motivated customer service assistant/receptionist to work with the clinical team to help in the smooth and efficient running of the clinic. This is a full time position and may suit someone with a vet nurse qualification or companion animal background.

About the role:

General customer service / reception duties including:

• First point of contact for clients and triaging patients
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain product displays
• Enter data on the database
• Process payments

Skills and Experience:

• A friendly personality combined with an excellent telephone manner
•  An animal care or companion animal background
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• An eagerness to learn and an ability to prioritise and adapt quickly to change
• Proven customer service/retail experience
