Description

An experienced companion animal veterinarian is sought to join our growing practice in the south-eastern Coromandel.

We pride ourselves in providing a high standard of clinical care to our patients, resulting in rewarding relationships with their owners and a sense of professional fulfilment.

You will work alongside two vets, three veterinary techs and a team of nurses and support staff.

We have all the bells and whistles, including digital (and digital dental) radiography, iM3 dental gear, ultrasound, a full suite of IDEXX analysers, a separate surgical theatre, fluid and syringe pumps, orthopaedic equipment (including Ossability TTA system), multi-parameter monitoring, surgical suction and active warming etc.

The ideal candidate would be confident managing day-to-day consultations and procedures, including routine and advanced surgeries. A strong desire for continued professional development is a must.

The position would be based in our new clinic in Whangamata, which is renowned for its idyllic beaches and opportunities for outdoor recreation (surfing, fishing, mountain biking, boating etc). Auckland, Tauranga and Hamilton are all easily accessible within 2 hours’ drive.
