Who we are  

The Animal Service Attendants are a small, tight knit team, working amongst the broader City Standards and Animal Care Branch. You will be joining a team of 5, who are responsible for the care of all animals at the Animal Management Centre.  

This team undertake the cleaning of kennels, feeding and monitoring the health and wellbeing of all impounded animals. They also take care of the presentation of the Animal Management Centre.

Who you are  

Sure, we're looking for an experienced and competent Animal Services Attendant, but you'll also be a pro-active thinker with well-developed interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude who keeps the community at the heart of all they do.  

However, more important than experience, we're looking for someone with the following characteristics:  

• You're a multi-tasking superstar who approaches work with high-energy, drive and self motivation 
• You have great attention to detail and can see opportunity for improvement 
• You have a passion for animals and thrive in a high performing environment
