We are a Zoological Park located in the foothills of the Tamar Valley only 18kms from the Launceston CBD. We recognize the values that engaging visitors through wildlife experiences and interpretation have in promoting local conservation actions.

At Tasmania Zoo, we know that keepers are passionate about nature and animals. As a ZAA Animal Welfare Accredited member we participate in regional and international conservation programs; and are in an active growth phase as our zoo family continues to expand with new species. We are seeking a full-time keeper to join our dedicated team.

The Role Will Include:

• Working without supervision to safely provide high quality animal husbandry and management techniques
• Delivering high quality customer service experience.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in a similar role
• Ability to work within a small team
• Share our passion for creating a positive experience for our customers.
• Current Drivers License
• Current Police Check
• Public speaking experience

Expected Start Date: Immediate
