We're looking for a special kind of person to join our Hamilton Zoo team on a casual basis.  If you think this could be you, lets talk.

For this role you must have:

an understanding of modern zoological best practice

the ability to work independently 

previous experience in animal husbandry

What's the salary?

The starting rate for this role will be $26.00 per hour

What will I be part of?

Set in 25 hectares and besides being a tourism and recreation park, Hamilton Zoo has committed to the conservation of animals and the environment by participating in various conservation and research projects, and by contributing to breeding programmes for endangered species.

You will be part of a passionate team, focussed on the care of our animals.

In addition to Zoo Keeping responsibilities you will also assist in keeping our grounds clean and tidy, through path blowing, garden maintenance etc.

Are looking for casual hours, as the hours will vary depending on business requirements.

Have the stamina to meet a variety of mentally and physically demanding challenges

Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with your team members.
