We are recruiting our next Zookeeper!

We are after an experienced keeper who has formal qualifications or a minimum of 1 year working in a similar position.

Crocodylus Park opened in 1994 by Professor Grahame Webb. Today it is one of Darwin's main tourist attractions and is home to the famous Saltwater Crocodile! Beyond Crocodiles is the wide range of exotic and native wildlife. Lions, Meerkats, Monkeys and more. As a Zoo Keeper, your position is vital in delivering care and attention to our beloved animals.

The successful applicant will have a positive working attitude, keen eye for detail, sound understanding of animals needs, and be a team player.

General Skills and Experience:

- A sound understanding of animal husbandry

- Physically fit to work in outdoor environment

- Public speaking and customer service skills

- Excellent record keeping and observational skills

- Be able to work unsupervised with initiative

- Problem solving attitude

- Manual driver's licence

- Available to work weekends
