About us

The Western Australian Birds of Prey Centre has been providing mobile wildlife education for 20 years. We are looking for a full-time person to join our educational team. Our centre is based in the Swan Valley Perth, Western Australia. Our educational team travels to the country for events.

 

Qualifications & experience

  • Able to present Infront of public with a knowledge and skill to adjust to different audiences. Be able to work in a team and autonomously. Ideally have raptor experience but at the very least wildlife experience and a passion for the environment. Have a manual licence and Working with Children check. Fit and healthy to work. Positive attitude and caring nature.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Responsible for the feeding, cleaning and Maintenace of the Raptors Involved in training of raptors. Conduct educational displays to the public. Due to the nature of the bookings, the job will involve country travel and the person will be require work on weekends and evenings.
