Aussie Ark is looking for a casual Wildlife Keeper to join the Aussie Ark team!  Aussie Ark is an innovative conservation organisation, located in Tomalla, with a vision of saving some of Australia's most threatened wildlife. We're looking for a motivated, proactive and suitably experienced individual to who wants to work in an exciting, fast-paced not-for-profit environment and isn’t afraid of getting their hands dirty.

The successful applicant will:

• Assist in daily rounds – feeding, cleaning, animal observations
• Wildlife food preparation
• Facility cleaning
• General maintenance
• Wildlife tourism talks

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

Essential Criteria:

• An ability to think strategically and understand the 'big picture'
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually
• Ability to work safely in remote locations
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative and proactive problem solver
• NSW Driver's license and car
• Driving on dirt road experience/ willingness to undertake driving course
• Commitment to and passion for Aussie Ark’s mission, vision, and values
• Working with Children’s Check
• NSW police check

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience In similar role
• 4x4 driving experience
