Silly Wagz Bridal Pups is a Wedding Day Pet Chaperone Business.
We help couple's dreams come true by chaperoning their babies to be part of their special day!

We are looking for a couple of bubbly, friendly faces to chauffeur dogs & cats to weddings and provide a special care and service in Tasmania!

We are based in Geelong Vic but are wanting to find trustworthy reliable staff to chauffeur in Tasmania.

This is a casual position.

 

Are you right for the job?:
~ Do you live near Hobart or Launceston?
~ Are you a Vet Nurse?
~ Do you have experience handling dogs and/or cats?
~ Have you had a minimum 2 years experience handling dogs? (Not personal dogs, in a job environment only).
~ Are you able to work independently?
~ Are you capable of handling large dogs, anxious dogs and any dogs with behavioural issues?
~ Do you have a Driver’s Licence and a reliable car?
~ Are you comfortable driving long distances?
~ Do you have excellent communication skills and are confident talking in large crowds
~ Are you available weekends?

 

Job Duties:
~ Providing a safe travel for animals to and from weddings
~ Taking dogs for walks
~ Administering medication if needed
~ Helping dogs in weddings by participating in the ceremony
~ Keeping the animals under control and as calm as possible
~ Taking photos on a reliable phone
~ Able to conduct meet and greets

 

You MUST have prior experience handling dogs for a minimum 2 years.
Candidates will only be looked at if you have worked at a dog daycare, as a dog trainer, vet nurse, kennel or a rehoming facility.
