  • The VetPartners Veterinary Training Centres is looking for a casual training assistant to join our team!
  • Calling all Veterinary Practice Managers and Veterinary Nurses!
  • Perth based position 
The Veterinary Training Centres, as part of VetPartners, are dedicated to empowering clinical excellence through elevating the skills and knowledge of veterinary professionals. Each location features a high-tech seminar room, along with a separate wet lab area where the practical components of workshops are held.
An exciting opportunity has become available at our Western Australian Veterinary Training Centre and we are looking to expand our team and welcome a new Event and Training Assistant in a casual capacity.

 

About The Role:

Training Assistants are responsible for the practical organisation of the Veterinary Training Centre workshops. Their key duties involve:

  • Liaising with workshop facilitators and ensuring the practical resources are ordered and organized for each training workshop
  • Managing workshop event operations
  • Set up and pack down of each training workshop - this includes cadaver handling
  • Making the attendee and facilitator experience as positive as possible by being the on-the-day onsite contact
  • General administrative and cleaning tasks

 

The Ideal Candidate:

This is an entry level position and would be well suited to someone looking to start their career in the veterinary industry or someone who has previous experience in the industry but looking for a career change into the events and training space.

  • Someone with a passion for the veterinary industry
  • Previous experience in the veterinary industry would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Flexibility, with the availability to work weekdays, weekends and long shifts
  • A confident and enthusiastic communicator
  • A strong passion for training and development
  • Excellent organisation skills and reliability
  • A valid driver’s licence
