The Department of Biology, Geology, and Environmental Sciences is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in Veterinary Technology. The successful candidate is expected to teach a variety of undergraduate lecture/laboratory courses which may include Small Animal Management and Clinical Procedures, Surgical Nursing Anesthesia and Pain Management, Veterinary Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Contemporary Issues in Veterinary Medicine and courses in their area of expertise.

Secondary responsibilities include student advisement and recruitment, supervision of students in clinical placements, professional and scholarly activities, and helping to maintain an accredited program.

RANK & SALARY: This is a tenure-track faculty appointment. Salary is competitive and commensurate with academic preparation and experience. An excellent fringe benefits package is included. Also, the successful applicant will have experience with program assessment and working with diverse populations.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES include involvement with departmental, college-wide, and university committees.
