Pieper Veterinary is a thriving specialty and emergency practice established in 2010, with specialties including Critical Care, Neurology, Oncology, Exotics and Internal Medicine.  We also support a Primary Care that has been in practice since 1933, and a 24/7 ER that is VECCS Level 1 certified.

We are seeking experienced veterinary technicians to join our Surgery team; CVT, LVT, or RVT certified technicians are strongly preferred.  Pieper Veterinary's surgery team is an excellent department for those who are looking to gain new and advanced skills, support complex problem solving, and see a variety of cases.  If you are ready for more than spays and neuters, this is for you!

We know it's not always easy to make a move, so no pressure!  We treat all interviews as confidential, and if a casual chat is more your style, we can do that too.

Pay: $20 - $35  / hour depending on level of experience, education and certification/licensing

This position does require availability for weekend rotations.

Career Advancement - If you're smart, work hard and know your stuff, you can absolutely expect to be promoted. We pride ourselves on recognizing talent and promoting from within.

Honing Your Skills - You’ve learned them, so use them! Our techs regularly implement treatment plans designed by our doctors by calculating medications, placing IV catheters, performing venipuncture, capturing radiographs, with many becoming proficient central line placement, nasogastric tube placement, PIC line placement, and performing surgical pre-, intra-, and post-anesthetic care.

Find Where You Belong - Working with our board-certified specialists in neurology, oncology, surgery, radiology, and internal medicine allows our staff to find their true passion in the field.

A Commitment to Continuing Education - At Pieper Memorial, numerous in-house CE opportunities are available, as well as an annual Veterinary Technician Symposium, helping you to maintain your skills and knowledge at the highest and most current level. We encourage those looking to continue their education by obtaining a specialty technician certification.

Benefits:

  • Paid time off
