About Veterinary Sciences at JCU

What you can Accomplish in the Role

You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the foundation of our veterinary students' educational journey as you support the teaching and research activities in Veterinary Reproduction (Theriogenology)to ensure day-one competency in animal reproduction. This includes clinical and applied services to clients in all relevant aspects of animal reproduction including reproductive physiology, diagnosis, treatment and control and management of reproduction-related diseases and conditions, assessing reproductive performance, pregnancy diagnosis, and obstetrics.

You will also contribute to the review and development of the curriculum and be an active member in research in animal reproduction.

 

What you will bring to the role

With an enthusiasm and passion to make a difference in the lives of aspiring veterinary professionals, you will hold a bachelor’s degree in veterinary science or equivalent with a higher degree in Theriogenology and be eligible for registration in Queensland. You can demonstrate extensive experience in the production animal industries of Australia, particularly in livestock reproduction and have a passion and aptitude for Teaching in theriogenology with a demonstrable commitment to teaching and research excellence.
