Great Western Exotics is the leading avian and exotic animal specific veterinary services in the UK. Part of Vets Now, we offer 24/7 avian and exotic animal referral service for veterinary professionals, as well as routine first-opinion consultations for pet owners seven days a week.

Be the face of our emergency and critical care service

Our Receptionists are often the first point of contact when a client calls or arrives. Our Reception teams greet clients, take calls, and handle financial transactions. You will also be responsible for handling administration duties accurately. You will provide our Vets and Nurses with vital updates about patients on the way to the clinic, or clients that may need assistance. Our Receptionists are a friendly face and listening ear when our clients need it most.

Working pattern

We currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to work the following shift pattern, but can offer an element of flexibility with these hours:

• Wednesday: 08:00-16:30 or 08:00-18:00 (depending on successful candidate's preference)
• Friday: 08:00-18:30
