ARH Brisbane is part of a well-established nation-wide group of specialist and emergency veterinary hospitals. Our purpose-designed, state of the art hospital houses our specialty services, including small animal surgery, internal medicine, neurology, surgical and medical oncology, and an after-hours emergency and critical care service. The Role
Our much-loved customer care team are the integral front-line of our entire hospital, and as such, are busy, busy, busy! Our hospital is presented with some of the most serious injuries and illnesses in pets, allowing our customer care team to utilise their veterinary nursing skills and experience to effectively and empathically:
- Triage a high volume of potential emergency situations across all departments – in person, over the phone and via email
- Discuss patient treatment paths with referring veterinary clinics and clients, liaising with our specialist and emergency teams
- Identify and fulfill a wide range of client/patient needs and requests
- Schedule a large variety of appointments across multiple departments and treating clinicians, in line with hospital policy and specific patient treatment plans
- Process complex insurance claims
- And above all, deliver an outstanding experience to animals and their human-counterparts

About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a veterinary clinic/hospital as a nurse, technologist or receptionist
- Have a genuine love of fostering the bond between animal and owner, and understand the crucial role the veterinary professional team play
- Enjoy working in an upbeat team environment with some good banter!
- Passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience
- Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
