If you are an Experienced Receptionist who loves interacting with people as much as pets, then we want you to join our team!

 

We’re looking for someone who is quick on their feet yet doesn’t compromise on their delivery of exceptional customer service at every interaction. You must have an outstanding phone manner that balances confidence with warmth. You are resilient and unafraid to tackle tricky conversations and provide support to people during highly emotional situations. We want you to be a long-term member of our team who client’s can get to know and vice-versa.

 

In this role you will…

  • Be the brand ambassador for the clinic as the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pet owners through honesty and trust
  • Ensure you deliver gold standard customer service at every interaction through exceeding expectations and following through on commitments
  • Bring your bubbly personality and love for conversation to every interaction, creating a welcoming and positive environment for clients and their pets
  • Provide clients with guidance and advice regarding tailored parasite preventatives and vaccinations
  • Undertake regular cleaning of the consultation rooms and reception area ensuring five-star presentation, cleanliness and hygiene
  • Process payments and conduct end of day banking procedures
  • Support your broader team including the Practice Manager, Vets and Nurses as directed

 

What you need for this role…

  • Minimum 2yrs previous experience working as a receptionist
  • Previous experience working within the Veterinary Industry would be highly desirable but not essential
  • An outgoing, friendly attitude with a growth mindset
  • Outstanding customer service and strong communication skills (both written and in person)
  • Confidence in your interactions whilst ensuring a sensitive and tactful approach
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Proven track record of strong resilience and empathy within the workplace
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • A love for people from all walks of life, both in their best moments and during their challenges
  • The ability to promote a positive environment and forge positive relationships both internally and externally (you must be able to have a good laugh!)

practice located on the North end of the Gold Coast with a focus on gold standard

patient care and providing exceptional service. We offer half hour appointments as standard and really focus on getting to know our clients and letting them get to know us. As the first point of contact for the clinic, this role is pivotal in creating a welcoming environment.

 

Our purpose-built facility is not only clean and bright, it offers state of the art facilities and is staffed by a close knit and super friendly team of passionate and dedicated individuals.

To ensure you are set up for success, we’ll provide you uniforms, support and training to get you up to speed on our clinic’s policies and protocols.

This is a full time position working 76 hours per fortnight with the spread of hours being between Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm.
