Position: Full-Time Permanent Receptionist
Hours: Monday to Friday (No Regular Weekends or Out-of-Hours Duties)
Location: Potts Point (Elizabeth Bay), just one stop from Martin Place

Our bustling inner-city privately owned veterinary hospital in Potts Point (Elizabeth Bay) is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced receptionist to be the warm, professional first point of contact for our clients.

 

What You Bring:

Experience in Administration and Customer Service:

Ideally in a veterinary or medical setting, but extensive experience in other client-facing industries is also valued.
Passion for Pets and People: 

A genuine love for animals and dedication to supporting their owners.
Empathy and Precision: Professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Multi-Tasking Skills: 

Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities, including busy phone lines, scheduling appointments, and administrative tasks.
Self-Motivation and Initiative: A proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
Digital Literacy: 

Proficiency in using Word suite, canva, email, booking software, and handling daily banking tasks is essential. Familiarity with Cornerstone software is highly desirable, though not required.
Creative Contribution: An interest in creating engaging social media content to showcase our team and services.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date client and patient records.
Provide empathetic, friendly service while coordinating effectively with clients and staff.
Manage scheduling and communication across a dynamic, busy practice.
Daily Duties (include but are not limited to):
Greeting clients and managing patient check-ins with professionalism and warmth.
Handling high volumes of phone calls, emails, and appointment bookings for multiple veterinarians.
Assisting veterinarians and management with administrative support, including managing client records and insurance claims.
Performing daily banking and reconciliations.
Ensuring the reception area is clean, welcoming, and well-organised.
Assisting clients with product purchases and unpacking stock deliveries.
