Job Description: We are seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing compassionate support to pet owners, and assisting our veterinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets with a warm, friendly demeanour
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain the clinic’s calendar
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism
• Handle client records and ensure accurate data entry
• Process payments and manage billing inquiries
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area
• Provide basic information about services and procedures to clients
• Support veterinary staff as needed during busy periods

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or similar customer service role is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for animal care and a compassionate attitude toward pets and their owners
• Proficiency in basic computer software and data entry
• A positive team player with a strong work ethic
