The Opportunity:
As the first point of contact for our clients, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for both our clients and their pets. You will be responsible for managing front-desk operations, handling client communications, and providing support to our veterinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing accurate information and scheduling appointments.
- Manage patient records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately maintained.
- Process payments, handle transactions, and manage invoicing.
- Assist with managing the clinic’s appointment schedule and coordinating with veterinary staff.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
About you:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (ideally within a veterinary or medical setting).
- Qualification in animal handling or veterinary nursing would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
- A genuine love for animals and a compassionate attitude towards pet owners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
