Tāwharau Ora, the School of Veterinary Sciences at Massey University, Palmerston North invites applications for the position of Veterinary Radiographer.

As well as the normal day-to-day duties, there are exciting opportunities in our Imaging group, where you will handle radiography and CT scans for various species, from beloved pets to our big and small equines, production animals, and endangered New Zealand wildlife.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing radiography and CT scanning.
- Assisting in teaching students during their clinical placements within the VTH.
- Managing digital image storage, manipulation, and transfer.
- Collaborating with multiple departments within Massey University and external facilities.
- Organizing radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT for clinical cases.
- Potential on-call CT support to Veterinary Specialist Surgeons after hours.
- Contributing imaging skills to research projects.
- Assisting Radiologists with ultrasound procedures, image archiving, and machine maintenance.
- Managing inventory and ordering consumables.
- Handling administrative duties associated with all modalities.
The salary range for this role is at a Professional Radiographer Grade 5 (for 2024), ranging from $56,622-$80,006 (NZD). Salary will be negotiable by background/experience.
