Company Overview: Belconnen Veterinary Centre is a leading veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to animals and their owners. We see GP cases as well as internally and externally referred surgical and medicine cases. We are the only GP clinic to have in house MRI and CT which generates an interesting caseload.
Position Overview: Due to our recent growth, we are now seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to work alongside our Business Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our veterinary practice, ensuring efficient workflow, exceptional client service, and effective team management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of daily operations, including scheduling and staffing.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as billing, invoicing, and record-keeping.
- Implement and maintain protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Supervise and support veterinary technicians, assistants, and other support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Coordinate with veterinarians to optimize patient care and workflow efficiency.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in veterinary practice management or similar role required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team satisfaction.
