An exciting opportunity has become available to join Veterinary Referral Services in the Waikato.

VRS are looking for an experienced Diploma Veterinary Nurse and a Veterinary Nursing Assistant (VNA) to join our team.

Dr Ian Millward is a well-known and respected referral surgeon with more than 30 years’ experience within the Veterinary industry. Dr Millward performs various procedures including advanced diagnostics, oncologic, soft tissue, orthopaedic and neurological procedures, for patients in the central North Island and greater areas.

The VRS Nursing Team perform a wide range of nursing tasks including complex anaesthetic cases, surgical assistant, physiotherapy and management of complex cases.

The Veterinary Nursing Assistant (VNA) role is focused to provide daily support for the team with a strong focus on organisation, attention to detail and are able to adapt quickly to changes pending on the patients needs. On-site training is provided, and we promote and provide support for continuing professional development (CPD) to help you advance and maintain your professional skills.
