Job Description

We value our Veterinary Nurses

At Our Vet, we recognise that the success of our clinics is made possible because of the support our Veterinary Nurses provide our Veterinarians, pets and their pet parents, and the team.

 

We seek to provide our Veterinary Nurses with rewarding careers where they can develop and grow their clinical skills across many activities in our clinics. We also have a unique career pathway program for our Veterinary Nurses increasing their responsibilities and earning potential.

 

Each day our Veterinary Nurses actively contribute to the following:

  • Monitor anaesthesia across routine to complex surgeries.
  • Assist with taking samples and using our inhouse lab for pathology.
  • Attend to customer enquiries at reception & educating them on the various products available for the health and wellness of their pets.
  • Client communications, answering questions and creating clinic visits.
  • Recording clear and precise clinical notes
  • Peri operative patient preparation, (including monitoring and recovery).
  • Veterinary Nurse consultations.
  • Patient discharge.
