About the position
We are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary nurse to complement our existing team, practicing high standards of patient and client care
The role includes;
- Working closely with the clinicians in specialist ophthalmic consultations
- Assisting and performing diagnostic tests
- Preparing, inducing, intubating and monitoring patients during anaesthesia
- Admitting and discharging patients for surgery
- Providing excellent patient care and client communication
About you
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with ideally 2+ years of clinical experience
- Confident in general nursing skills including: animal handling, venipuncture, IV cannula placement
- Comfortable with general anaesthetic monitoring
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ophthalmology experience not required! We provide support and any training needed
