About the position
We are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary nurse to complement our existing team, practicing high standards of patient and client care
The role includes;

• Working closely with the clinicians in specialist ophthalmic consultations
• Assisting and performing diagnostic tests
• Preparing, inducing, intubating and monitoring patients during anaesthesia
• Admitting and discharging patients for surgery
• Providing excellent patient care and client communication

About you

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with ideally 2+ years of clinical experience
• Confident in general nursing skills including: animal handling, venipuncture, IV cannula placement
• Comfortable with general anaesthetic monitoring
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ophthalmology experience not required! We provide support and any training needed
