Our busy and growing five clinics cover the Kaipara and Bream Bay regions of Northland, New Zealand from east to west. We are now on the hunt for a new or recent graduate Veterinary Nurse for our Mangawhai & Waipu clinics, as well as support for our Ruawai, Ruakākā and Maungaturoto clinics.

Our team is made up of experienced vets, vet technicians and vet nurses, and supported by a customer service and management team. Your role will be to provide outstanding veterinary nursing, ensuring the best possible care for our customers and patients.

 

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

  • We have a permanent full time New Graduate Veterinary Nurse role on offer.
  • The full-time roles are (Monday – Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm), with every second to fourth Saturday (9.00am – 1.00pm), worked on a roster basis.
  • You'll carry out veterinary nursing procedures under the guidance of our talented Veterinarians and assist with surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia.
  • Collection and submission of diagnostic samples.
  • Assisting in production of X-rays.
  • Patient monitoring and treatment.
  • IV catheter placement and diagnostic sampling.
  • Conducting veterinary nurse consults.

  • Confidence to work autonomously and in a team environment.
