Calling all nurses looking to take their careers to the next level! We are on the lookout for a superstar, preferably with a few years of experience under their belt, to join our amazing team as the Referral Surgery Coordinator.

Work alongside world-class veterinary professionals to provide a well-rounded experience for advanced injuries and illnesses. The role coordinates cases with referring veterinarians/clinics and our own internal services, such as our ICU, anaesthesia, and imaging departments. The coordinator also plays an important and hands-on role in patient care and nursing, wellbeing and treatments. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, who possess excellent communication skills, is self-motivated, super organised, and have a passion for education.

As part of Massey Vets, you will be involved in the teaching of Bachelor of Veterinary Science. Massey’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility offering New Zealand’s most comprehensive veterinary expertise and experience.

We offer an amazing induction experience with full support from our Clinical Coordinator – an experienced nurse who will work alongside you while you find your feet and learn the role. Our own nurse education and passions are important to us and we have funds and support for on-going education and a team of 40+ nurses who are supportive and willing to help new staff gain the skills they need to succeed.

This full-time, permanent position is 37.5hours per week, Monday to Friday. This position is involved in the on-call roster, which is 1 week in approximately 14 weeks.
