Today we are Australia’s largest not for profit animal hospital and our Campbellfield Adoption Centre offers sanctuary, welfare, rehabilitation and re-homing for animals in need.

We are an animal adoption centre, offering quality general practice veterinary services in a state-of-the-art facility designed to optimise animal health and wellbeing based on fear free principles.

 

About the role
At Campbellfield you will allow you to enjoy all the benefits of working a contemporary facility specifically designed to optimise animal health and wellbeing. You will work together with some of the most qualified nurses and vets in Australia delivering high quality, affordable animal care to all members of the community.

 

About you
You are a demonstrated team player who is curious, open-minded and respectful of others. You are experienced in communicating with people from a variety of backgrounds. You find motivation by serving the community and being part of a team with a genuine commitment to helping people and the animals they love.

You will have:

  • Formal qualifications in Veterinary Nursing (essential)
  • Minimum of 4 years in an animal shelter, veterinary practice or hospital environment
  • Triage experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong decision-making processes
  • Experience in guiding, mentoring, teaching less experienced staff
  • Practice in supervising staff
