Veterinary Nurse

Kohimarama Veterinary Clinic is a well established, modern and well equipped, privately owned small animal practice in Auckland's Eastern Suburbs. We have a dedicated team of 3 veterinarians and qualified full-time and part-time nurses. We are looking for a qualified nurse with a passion for their chosen career and with commitment to building strong relationships with our clients, patients and fellow staff members.

This is a practice with highly skilled veterinarians and nurses who are dedicated to offering their patients the best of care and developing a culture of excellence.

The position involves working 40 hours per week, with rostered shifts and includes some weekends. The position is for a candidate with proven:

• Reliability
• Willingness to work as part of a professional team
• The ability to organise and prioritise
• Great communication skills
• A high level of customer service skills
• Veterinary Nursing qualification (Diploma or Degree) or Vet Technician qualification (Degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Technology)
• Ability to monitor anaesthesia, provide surgical assistance and manage a variety of cases with competence.

The job includes shifts on surgical, hospital and reception duties. Training is ongoing and nurses are given the opportunity to put her skills to full use. We provide a high level of care for our patients and a high level of service to our clients.
