Veterinary Dermatology Specialists have an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team as a full time Veterinary Nurse (38 hours per week).

As Veterinary Dermatology Specialists continues to grow and evolve, we are looking for a full-time veterinary nurse who is striving to practice a high standard of veterinary nursing and is passionate about working with a like-minded team.

About the role: 

Your main responsibilities:

• Admission and discharge of patients
• Performing in-house lab diagnostics
• Assistance with dermatology procedures
• Nursing consultations
• Customer service
• Administration of hospital care and medications to hospitalised patients
• Administration tasks
• General duties including purchasing and stock turnover

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Current registration with the Western Australia Vet Surgeons Board and a degree in Veterinary Nursing
• Experience in veterinary general practice
• A passion for creating a calm and positive environment for patients
• Exceptional client skills and effective communication abilities in the workplace, who thrives as part of a team
• A ‘can do’ attitude who prides themselves on their attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management & organisational skills
• Punctuality and reliability
• Agile problem solver
• Proficiency in IT: Full Microsoft suite, Ezyvet Veterinary Software
