We are a modern, beautiful practice that has all of the equipment and skill sets to do most procedures in house, so your days will be interesting and varied. We also have a dedicated (and wonderful) team of receptionists, so as a nurse you will be able to focus on your patients and perfecting your skill sets. Our nurses are encouraged and empowered to perform advanced nursing tasks and skillsets, meaning that they are essential and valued members of our surgical team.

We have a strong educational, support and mentoring program in house with continued active training, monthly nurse meetings and individual mentoring from senior team members that is confidential and will focus on your well being and life skills as well as your technical skills.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who:

• Has a passion for veterinary nursing and people and who wants to contribute to being in a quality, uplifting environment.
• Wants to continue to learn and improve and become an (even more) amazing patient advocate and clinical nurse.
• Enjoys the buzz and banter of being part of an ”A” grade team.
• Appreciates cakes on their birthday and a constant flow of chocolates from grateful patients!
• Has, or is studying towards, a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

The role is a permanent full-time role of 38 hours/week split over 4 days, so you will get a regular full day off each week.  The role will also include Saturday shifts 8am – 1pm every 2nd Saturday.
