Are you an experienced Veterinary Nurse looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and forward-thinking environment? Halifax Veterinary Centre is nestled in beautiful sunny Nelson and we are on the lookout for a skilled individual to join our dynamic team.

At Halifax Veterinary Centre, we pride ourselves on being an amazing, supportive workplace with a strong sense of team camaraderie. Our nursing team consists of individuals with varying experience levels, and we are dedicated to fostering continuous learning and growth. Currently, we are seeking a Veterinary Nurse to fill a crucial role at the more experienced end of the spectrum. The ideal candidate will have the confidence to step into surgery and monitor anaesthetics as well as mentor our junior nurses.

This can be a full-time or part-time position. We are open to discussing hours with the right candidate – let us know what your dream hours would be!

The opportunity is available to take on the role of Head Nurse with above average remuneration.

As a Veterinary Nurse at Halifax Veterinary Centre, you will play a vital role in our General Practice. Your responsibilities will include surgical assistance, hospital care, consulting, and delivering outstanding customer service. We value your input and encourage you to share ideas that will contribute to an even higher level of patient and customer care.
