What we offer:

• Two-Three-Four days per week available,8 am-5.30 pm
• Any required weekend work is on a rotating/shared basis (Saturday mornings only)
• Mentoring from skilled veterinary surgeons and advanced medical veterinarians across our group of five clinics

• This exciting role will rely on your strong nursing skills to rotate across surgical, medical and reception shifts.
• A good understanding of systems such as RX works will be an advantage.

Requirements:

• A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or recognised Australian equivalent).
• Previous surgical nursing, emergency and critical care experience with companion animals.
• Confidence in monitoring anaesthesia.
• Excellent animal handling and triaging skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent multitasking skills and ability to complete set tasks within the specified deadline.
• Positive, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to work both alone and within a team to support co-workers.
• Ability to work across different roles within the clinic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work well with people of all different backgrounds.
• The ability to work autonomously.
• A friendly, easy-going nature.
• A personality that allows you to see "the bigger picture" at all times.
• A passion for improving the lives of animals and a commitment to best practice customer service and animal care standards.
