Cat Vet Nurse

Qualified Veterinary Nurse – Full Time or Part Time. Greensborough location. Two positions available.

We are looking for a qualified, experienced vet nurse for our Private Veterinary Clinic (open to the public).

The ideal candidate will have great cat handling skills, confident reception skills, and enjoy surgical nursing. We are looking for someone to join our supportive and friendly team who can help the day run smoothly.

The role will include working reception, general nursing and surgical nursing. You will be assisting with running in house bloods on our IDEXX machines, assisting with X-rays including dental X-rays, monitoring anaesthesia, recovering patients, and much more.

The position is flexible with 24 – 38 hours per week, including weekdays and a rotating Saturday every 3-4 weeks.

We are an accredited ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic (Silver).

The Cat Protection Society of Victoria is a not-for-profit animal welfare organisation that has been operating for over 70 years. The aim of the Private Clinic is to fund the Shelter.

This year we are on track to rehome or adopt up to 2000 cats. We look forward to seeing these successful adoptions as loved companion cats in the private clinic.  We value collaboration, integrity and a respectful work environment.
