SASH is excited to announce our new, state of the art emergency and referral hospital in Balgowlah, Northern Beaches, providing veterinary excellence in the core services of medicine, surgery, emergency with critical care, dermatology and oncology.
Our Surgery team is seeking a nurse to join us playing a pivotal role in the patient experience from admission through to discharge.
This role will have cross over with our emergency department, requiring the successful candidate to spend a portion of their shift working with our fabulous emergency team.

This is a full-time, permanent position and will include a shared weekend roster with the team.

 

Who are we looking for?

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in a qualified nursing position
• Previous experience in surgery or surgery related skills is desirable but not essential
• Proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A great team player with an ability to work autonomously when required
• Passionate about animals and providing a high standard of care
