About the Role
What does the day in the life of Vet Manager look like?

  • Provide support to our frontline teams, our people are our business
  • Promote high standards of patient care
  • Building relationships with our valued referring veterinarians
  • Financial leadership and reporting for the hospital
  • Project management within the hospital
  • Marketing and promotional coordination
  • Leadership in business strategic planning and execution along with the leadership team
  • Ensure adequate resources and support are available to teams to deliver the highest quality of care to patients
  • Liaise with other vet managers to ensure alignment and promotion of the business group and to maximise efficiency, profitability and productivity
  • 15hrs per week of admin shifts with the option to flex up your hours with clinical shifts

About You

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a hands-on veterinary role
  • Significant experience with veterinary hospital equipment, with a natural ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment maintenance
  • Experience in leadership of small to medium teams
  • Experience in the use of RX Works (or similar veterinary software) is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate in a positive manner
  • Ability to work flexible hours (Tues/Wed standard business hours preferred for admin shifts) + clinical hours
