Greencross Vets Majura Park is located within our busy PetBarn store. We see a lot of transient clients and their fur kids from the military base, alongside patients who live in the neighbouring suburbs. Our clients are dedicated pet-parents and our purpose built clinic is designed for full case work-up, to ensure that their pets receive the best veterinary care.

Due to our growing client base, we are looking for a Vet Director or Senior Veterinary Associate to join us on a full-time basis, however we are committed to flexible rosters to ensure our team have time for family, fun and all this beautiful region offers.

Our cohesive and hard-working team are bonded and enjoy plenty of fun and laughter. We like to learn and continue enhancing our skills, so we have regular team development lunches to help build our skills and knowledge.

We have a dedicated Practice Manager, who looks after us well, and she has a unicorn snack stash that she willingly shares with us! What more could you want?

And when it comes to genuine love for animals, we have that in spades! While our patients are predominately dogs and cats, any spiders, lizards and other wildlife that finds their way into our clinic will be cared for diligently.

Job Description

What you’ll be doing each day

• Leading and/or mentoring team of passionate Vets and Vet Nurses
• A permanent full-time role with variety and flexibility
• Delivering personalised, professional and dedicated care to our patients and owners
• Regular consults and routine surgery - design a schedule that suits your working style
• Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment
• Confidently working as a sole practitioner in the clinic when required

Qualifications

About you

To compliment our team, we feel a Veterinarian with at least 3 years practical experience and registration to work in Australia would suit best. Clinical leadership and management skills desired but not essential as we will mentor you! An ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of the team.
