Veterinary Dermatology Specialists are seeking applications for a Resident in Veterinary Dermatology, commencing in July 2025.

The residency provides three years of specialty training in basic and applied sciences to develop a firm foundation in the subjects of dermatology, internal medicine and dermatohistopathology.  Areas covered will include immunology, bacteriology, mycology, virology, parasitology, endocrinology, pharmacology, embryology, genetics, nutrition, oncology, and physiology.

The residency is directly supervised by two ACVD board certified Veterinary Dermatologists with a combined total of 23 years’ experience in the industry.

Applicants should:

• Be passionate about all aspects of Dermatology
• Be a graduate of an approved veterinary school or college
• Ideally have specialist internship experience and/or private practice experience (encouraged but not required)
• Have (or hold ability to obtain) a veterinary license in Western Australia. This is required from the point of employment and throughout the residency.
• Be a member of a national veterinary medical association (i.e. ACVSc).
