Brunker Road Veterinary Centre has an exciting opportunity for a small animal veterinarian to join our team. Proudly privately owned, we are a highly respected, 8 vet hospital located in Newcastle. About the role:

  • Work alongside some of Newcastle’s most knowledgeable veterinarians providing you with comprehensive veterinary support and an invaluable learning opportunity. The role can be adapted to your level of experience and areas of interest.
  • No after-hours work, no Sunday or public holiday work and no sole charge. The full-time role would consist of a 4-day working week.
  • Our dedicated and understanding clientele will allow you the freedom to achieve a high standard of veterinary care.
  • With a support staff to vet ratio of greater than 3:1, you will work with a fabulous team of experienced nurses, receptionists and managers.
  • The contemporary, superbly equipped centre allow us to provide a comprehensive small animal service including medical and critical care, CT imaging, ultrasonography, flexible and rigid endoscopy, advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, oncology and chemotherapy.
  • For those seeking a more challenging role, our referral services will provide you with exposure to more advanced and complex cases.
