We're a busy, predominantly small animal, regional practice with a heavy surgical caseload, looking for a specialist surgeon to increase our capacity.

We currently have a steady stream of orthopaedic patients, but we feel there is absolutely capacity to expand on the services we currently offer with a specialist surgeon joining our team.

As an emergency centre, we also perform a lot of abdominal surgeries, and while our in-house team is very capable with a broad range of presentations, there are certainly occasions when specialist help is needed, and we'd rather keep it in-house.

And we have enthusiastic young vets who would relish the surgical training on any of the days your caseload is light.

Opportunity to work in a full time or part time role. We have good digital radiography & ultrasound, but sadly, you'll need to get by without an in-house CT. You will not be expected to be involved in frontline after hours work, but sharing the back up emergency surgeon role with the principal for the big emergency surgeries would be a positive.
