Ballarat Pet and Farm Vet are seeking either mixed practice or small animal veterinarians. The clinic is situated in the culturally rich town of Ballarat, where you are never more than 1.5 hours away from Melbourne, the coast or the airport. New Graduates are welcome to apply for an August/September start.

The clinic has purpose built facilities, with high standards of patient care facilitated by an extensive collection of well-maintained equipment, a wide selection of modern pharmaceuticals and impressive staff ratios. We are also proud to provide veterinary services to the Ballarat City Council shelter pets.   For mixed practice veterinarians: in addition to our small animal services, we provide on farm emergency service and herd/flock advice and are equipped with large animal gadgetry. This is predominantly cattle and small ruminant work, with some equine work.Working with the Ballarat Pet and Farm team, in partnership with PETstock Vet, you will also have access to:

We offer a 4-day work week. Currently there is and an on-call commitment of 1 in 4 weekends including a rostered Saturday morning and 1 weeknight per month until midnight. Back-up support for on-call is provided by a second rostered vet.
