Taupō Vet Centre
Mixed Practice Veterinarian
At the Taupō Vet Centre, we’re more than just a vet clinic—we’re a dedicated vet club giving back to our community within an innovative client focused culture. For over 75 years, we've been caring for the animals of the Waikato region, both big and small. Now, we’d love for you to join us in our brand-new purpose-built clinic!
ABOUT THE JOB: We have an exciting opportunity for a 4 -5 day week Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join the team in Taupō commencing early 2025. There is a shared, well supported after-hours component to the role and our full-time vets who do after hours get a half day off every week! Our team are values driven professionals who are dedicated and love to have fun. This is the perfect chance to work in an incredible well-resourced and caring environment. Additionally, in Taupō we believe in work-life harmony and feel lucky to have access to many outdoor options such as trout fishing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, hot pools and a café culture.
At Vetora, we believe in taking care of our people, which is why we offer a fantastic remuneration and benefits package, along with full support for ongoing professional development. We are very proud to have won the Employee Development Award at the Primary Industries Good Employer Awards 2021!
ABOUT YOU: Ideally, you will have 2+ years’ experience as a mixed animal vet with a strong CA interest and sound diagnostic approach to small animal medicine. Having an exceptional team spirit and a collaborative attitude is a must, as you will be working as part of a high performing team to provide the best veterinary service for our farming and small animal clients.
If you would like to have a confidential chat about the culture, or to discuss the role further, please feel free to call Maria Post (Clinic Manager/Vet) on 027 225 3336 or email maria.post@vetora.nz.
