Dermcare-Vet Pty Ltd is an Australian owned veterinary pharmaceutical company that develops medicated skin treatments for animals with allergies, skin disease and ear problems in Australia and overseas markets. We are well known in the veterinary industry and our brands include Malaseb, Aloveen, and Otoflush, to name a few.

We are seeking a veterinarian to assist our current Technical Services Veterinarian/Sales & Marketing Manager. The exact role description will depend on the skills of the suitable candidate, but ideally duties will include:

Sales & Marketing

• Management of the Sales & Marketing field force.
• Development of marketing and technical materials, including graphic design of these materials.
• Conference and seminar attendance, including interstate travel.

Research & Development

• Provide assistance with research trials.

Technical & Clinical

• Pharmacovigilance.
• Responding to technical queries from end-users and vets.
• Support work in our on-site referral clinic – Animal Allergy & Dermatology Service.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

• Tertiary qualification in veterinary science, essential.
• Current veterinary registration in Queensland.
• Minimum 5 years’ clinical practice.
• Interest in animal dermatology.
• An absolute dedication to the health and wellbeing of companion animals.
• Ability to be flexible, prioritise and manage short- and long-term projects autonomously.
• Marketing and/or graphic design experience will be highly regarded.

The role will be based at our head office in Slacks Creek (30km south of Brisbane CBD) with some interstate travel required. This is a full-time role, however part-time may be considered for a suitable candidate. Salary to be discussed based on experience.
